FindMeAJob.co.nz is a New Zealand job site for people with little or no work experience. School leavers, first-jobbers, people coming back after time out, migrants with overseas experience nobody here will count, and anyone who keeps reading “two years experience required” on a job they could do tomorrow.
“Little or no work experience” is a range, not a rule. We list roles needing none at all, up to about two years. A year of work behind you fits. So does a qualification you have never had the chance to use. Everything a job seeker can do on this site is free: find the jobs, fix the CV, write the cover letter, practise the interview, check the pay.
There is a catch-22 at the bottom of the job market and most people hit it at least once. You cannot get the job without experience. You cannot get experience without the job. The advice you get is to sell yourself better, which is hard to do when you have been knocked back eleven times and nobody has told you why.
Meanwhile the roles that would actually take you are buried. On a general job board an entry-level job sits on page six underneath everything asking for five years and a degree. This site only carries the ones at the bottom of the ladder, so there is no page six.
The career tools are free because charging a person who has no job yet for help getting one is a strange way to run a business. No trial, no card, no catch.

Listings come from two places: New Zealand employers and recruiters who post directly with us, and a feed of NZ roles from Adzuna. Anything from the feed opens on Adzuna when you go to apply, so you always know whose listing you are on.
You can list a role here for nothing. The free plan runs one live listing at a time for 15 days, with your company profile and logo on it. Pro is $29, paid once, for a featured listing that runs 30 days and sits above the free ones. Unlimited is $99 a month if you hire often.
Every application arrives with a CV and a cover letter written for your role, not a generic one, plus a short written brief on the candidate against what you asked for. We do not promise you a pile of applicants. We do promise that the ones who arrive have read the ad.
