Cherry & Apple Season - Central Otago

We're looking for 2 reliable people to join a busy packhouse in Ettrick, Central Otago, getting packaging ready for the upcoming cherry and apple season.

This is a fixed-term seasonal position running from early November through to the end of February.

The Role
You'll be working in a busy packhouse environment, helping with packaging and machinery as the team is getting packaging ready for the busy season.

The role includes:
Operating and monitoring packaging machinery
Getting packaging ready for production
Refilling machines as required
Carrying out basic machine checks
Quality checking products
Keeping the work area clean and tidy
Working as part of a team during a busy seasonal period
Previous machine operating or packhouse experience is an advantage, but is not essential.

Hours & Pay
Monday to Friday
8:00am - 4:30pm
Hours may vary depending on weather and seasonal requirements
$26.90 per hour + 8% holiday pay
Start: Early November
Finish: End of February

What We Need
The most important thing is reliability and commitment. We need people who are able to stay in Ettrick and work for the whole season through to the end of February.
This could suit friends or couples looking to spend the summer working in Central Otago.
Accommodation is not provided, however there are local accommodation options available and we can assist with arranging these.

Ettrick is approximately 10 minutes from Roxburgh.
You must have the right to work in New Zealand. We do not sponsor visas.
