NZ Recruit is currently looking for an experienced Aluminium Cutter to join our client's team in the Phillipstown area.

Aluminium Cutter

This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 2 years' experience working with aluminium who is confident with accurate measuring and cutting. You will be working as part of a team, preparing aluminium components to specification and ensuring a high standard of quality is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
Measuring and cutting aluminium to specified lengths
Working from cutting lists, measurements and job sheets
Using aluminium cutting machinery, hand tools and power tools
Preparing aluminium components for fabrication and assembly
Checking measurements and cuts for accuracy
Maintaining a clean and safe work area
Working efficiently to meet daily production requirements

What We're Looking For:
Minimum 2 years' experience in aluminium cutting or fabrication
Previous experience within aluminium joinery or a similar manufacturing environment
Confident reading measurements and cutting lists
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable using machinery and tools
Reliable, hardworking and able to work well within a team
Good understanding of health and safety requirements
Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand
