Locations:
This position is based across our stores in Wellington region and Manawatu-whanganui region and hence requires travelling between the multiple stores.

Permanent, Full-Time
Hours of Work:
Minimum 30 hours, up to 45 hours per week depending on workload
Rotating roster including weekends
Typical hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay Rate:
$25.00 per hour
Fuel and time costs for travelling between sites during rostered hours will be covered
About the Role:
We are seeking two Junior Mobile Phone Repair Technicians to carry out diagnosis, repair, and testing of mobile phones and electronic devices. This is a hands-on technical role with customer interaction in a retail repair environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mobile phones, including screen replacements, battery changes, and software issues.
Perform device testing and ensure all repairs are done to the highest standards.
Assist senior technicians in complex repairs and learn new skills in mobile phone repair.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and keeping customers informed about the repair process.
Handle repair tools and parts carefully and responsibly.
Qualifications & Skills:
At least 6 months experience required in a similar role.
High school Qualification required
Ability to work with various mobile phone brands (e.g., iPhone, Samsung, Huawei, etc.).
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
Eagerness to learn and grow in the mobile repair field.
Other Requirements:
Valid full driver’s license.
Willingness to work across multiple stores.
Willingness to undergo police vetting if requested.
Willingness to undergo drug testing if requested.
