Warehouse Storeperson / Manager
Key responsibilities
-Receive and check incoming goods against purchase and delivery documentation.
-Unload, inspect and correctly store incoming stock.
-Organise and maintain stock within the warehouse.
-Pick customer orders accurately according to invoices and order documentation.
-Pack, label and prepare orders for dispatch.
-Check quantities and products before orders leave the warehouse.
-Load and unload the company delivery vehicle safely.
-Deliver customer orders accurately and on time.
-Obtain appropriate proof or confirmation of delivery.
-Assist with regular stock counts and inventory checks.
-Rotate stock appropriately and identify damaged, expired or short-dated products.
-Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse.
-Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
-Communicate any stock discrepancies, damaged products or delivery issues to management.
-Perform other reasonable warehouse and delivery duties associated with the position.
What we are looking for
The successful applicant should have:
-2 years previous warehouse or Retail, storeperson or similar experience.
-Must be able to understand & speak English, Hindi (Fluent) , Punjabi (fluent)
• Must understand Indian spices names, flours or other indian grocery products and their usage, shelf life etc. knowledge in order to manage them correctly in the warehouse
• A valid Full New Zealand driver's license Class 1 appropriate for the company delivery vehicle.
-Proven experience in receiving, picking, packing and dispatching goods.
• Basic computer skills for stock and order processing would be advantageous.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately from invoices and order documentation.
-Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of warehouse work, including lifting and moving cartons.
-Good organizational and time-management skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
-Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Must be Physically strong to lift boxes and cartons

Employment: Permanent, full-time
Guaranteed hours: Minimum 30 hours per week

we are an established grocery import and wholesale distribution business operating in New Zealand since 2018. We are seeking an experienced, reliable and highly organised Warehouse Storeperson / Delivery Driver to take responsibility for the accurate receipt, storage, picking, packing and delivery of customer orders.
This is a hands-on position requiring someone who can work independently, maintain a well-organised warehouse and ensure customer orders are prepared and delivered accurately and on time.
