Sales Advisor - Casual

Ever noticed those friendly faces handing out samples at Costco? That's us! Club Demonstration Services (CDS) is the in-house product demonstration team for Costco, and we're looking for Sales Advisors to join us at our Westgate location in Auckland.

Being part of CDS means having the opportunity to connect with members, create a ‘Know Like Trust’ relationship with team members and make a difference in their everyday lives.

In this role, you'll be the face of different brands, creating genuine connections with Costco members through product sampling and demos. You'll set up displays, chat with shoppers, hand out samples, explain what makes products special, and help people discover something new. It's all about generating excitement and helping members find products that work for them.

Generating excitement, brand awareness and increase product sales through event sampling and promotions
Prepare and market vendor products (food and non-food)
Provide members samples and/or information on product
Display product and explain features and benefits
Answer member questions and continuously engage and communicate with members regarding product
Encourage members to purchase event product by providing helpful hints and uses of product
Setup and breakdown of event area
Preparation of product samples on scheduled event days

- No experience needed — we'll teach you everything
- Friendly, outgoing personality and genuine interest in connecting with people
- Ability to stand for extended periods and do some light setup/breakdown
- Reliable and willing to work rotating roster between 10am-5pm (including weekends)
- Basic communication skills and willingness to learn
