Dog groomer

Lucky Tails is looking for a Dog Groomer to join our friendly team in Rotorua. You'll be bathing, drying, and grooming dogs to keep them looking and feeling great. It's hands-on work that makes a real difference — owners leave happy, and dogs get pampered. If you love working with animals and don't mind getting a bit wet and hairy, this could be the perfect fit to start your career in trades.

- Bathe and dry dogs using appropriate techniques and products
- Trim nails, clean ears, and groom coats to the owner's specifications
- Handle dogs safely and calmly, even the nervous or tricky ones
- Keep the grooming area clean and organised
- Chat with customers about their dog's needs and take their feedback on board
- Maintain grooming tools and equipment

No experience needed — full training provided.
- A genuine love for dogs and patience working with them
- Willingness to learn — we'll train you in proper grooming techniques
- Ability to stand for long periods and do physical work
- A helpful attitude and good communication with customers
- NZ driver's licence is a bonus but not essential
