Production Assistant - Gate Netting Installation - Temp to Perm Role

Location: Hornby
Start Date: Immediate Start
Working Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Pay: $27.76 per hour plus 8% holiday pay

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Assistant to install netting onto farm gates in a warehouse/production environment. This role involves working with heavy steel gates, repetitive manual tasks, and the use of hand tools. Applicants must be physically fit, strong, and comfortable with hands-on work.

Key Responsibilities
• Attaching metal wire/netting to farm gates
• Lacing and securing netting onto gates to required specifications
• Using hand tools safely and efficiently
• Checking and adjusting tension on gates and netting
• Carrying out quality control checks to ensure product standards are met
• Handling and moving heavy steel gates when required
• Completing repetitive production tasks
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area at all times
Requirements
• Physically fit and strong, able to work with heavy steel materials
• Comfortable performing repetitive manual work
• Ability to lift and move heavy items when required
• Experience using basic hand tools
• Good attention to detail for quality control checks
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Ability to pass pre employment checks

This position is temp to perm, with an immediate start for the right person. All candidates must have legal working rights and no working holiday visas for this role as its temp to perm.
